Rizing Dead 5k

The Rizing Dead 5k is anything but your average race. Packed with the dead lurking throughout the course, these characters are waiting for the perfect moment to cause your adrenaline to pump. Whether they are popping out of places or all out chasing, there will be a horde of riZen dead to keep you on your toes, as well as entertained. Can you endure the race spotless from the grasp of the dead (Ephesians 2:1-5)?

A white race day t-shirt will be given to all participants, in which they will be challenged to keep spotless until the end of the race. All runners that finish without a mark will be entered into a drawing to receive one of our many prizes. After you escape the grasp of the dead, join us for a rocking after party with music, food, photo-ops, and interaction with the dead. Proceeds for this 5k race will benefit The Center for New Beginnings Women’s Shelter in Newark, Ohio.

A shortened 1-mile course for walking participants is also available.
