There is a Kid’s run (Little Gobbler) for ages 8 and under. There is a 5K and a 1.5 mile option for the run/walk\, and virtual option. \n\n\n\nNew Course in 2025.  \n\n\n\nGet ready for a scenic and festive Thanksgiving run through the heart of downtown Delaware!Your race begins and ends on charming East Winter Street\, near the library\, passing by local favorites The Strand Theatre\, 1808 and Mi Cerrito on your way to dash up historic Sandusky Street. Then it’s a smooth cruise down Wilmer before hitting an out-and-back stretch on Henry Street — a perfect place to find your rhythm. Then a unique crossing over the pedestrian bridge above Route 23\, offering epic views and a fun change of pace. From there\, it’s a final push down East Winter to the finish line celebration where it all began. \n\n\n\nThis the Thanksgiving Day tradition your family will look forward to every year! \n\n\n\nPlease note: portions of this course are coned down the middle\, maintaining traffic patterns\, so please be aware and stay inside the designed course. Sandusky Street from William to Wilmer will have the parking lane and one lane to run in (running on the far left lane). Additionally Winter Street from Lake St to Estelle St will be coned down the middle (runners on the right lane). \n\n\n\nRun for a Cause. This event donates 100% of it’s proceeds to the Autism Society Central OH (ASCO). We’ve donated nearly $232\,000 to date. SUMMARY:Battle of Bluelicks
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2026 kick-off event for the Kentucky Road Racing series. A two day road race on the official first weekend of spring! This will be two days of full gas road racing. We will do podium ceremonies for each day\, but the actual winner of the weekend will be decided by your overall time of both days combined. Also our series points system will be based off of overall finish on the weekend\, not individual race finishes.   \n\n\n\nWe have added a lot of new categories. If any category has less than 20 racers it will be combined with another wave but scored separately. Any category with less than 10 racers may be dissolved completely or combined with another wave and scored separately but no awards issued. This will be up to the race directors discretion. Women’s Categories will get their own wave start regardless of size unless the group unanimously votes to start with another wave for bigger field of participation. We are bringing in a new venue to the series\, Kat Daddyz Pay Lake. They are located at 142 Ashcraft Spur\, Mt Olivet\, Kentucky. This will be where you check in and the start finish for Saturdays race. They’re located just a few miles from Turtleback Ridge so it will be easy to get between both\, even by bike. They have a single stall shower house\, RV Rental\, Campsites\, and obviously fishing. They have a small deck and a snack shack. Turtleback Ridge will be serving cold beer as well! Check in for Saturday morning will begin at 9am and the Men’s P/1/2 will be the first wave at 11am   \n\n\n\nTurtleback Ridge Brewery\, 6769 Mt Pleasant Rd Ewing\, KY will be the host of our Sunday race and where our overall awards ceremony will be held. They offer primitive camping and there will be a food vendor on site.  Single day racers begin check in at 9am\, two day racers will use their same number and do not need to check in. Men’s P/1/2 will be the first wave at 11am. We know Kentucky weather can be very unpredictable. So we have signed up for the Event Cancellation Insurance with Bikereg. Lung cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths and often shows little to no warning until it has progressed\, making awareness and education lifesaving. \n\n\n\nAt the event\, we will provide critical information about lung cancer risks\, warning signs\, screening\, and information on support resources for patients and families. All proceeds from the Breathe Strong 5K will directly support lung cancer research and family support groups through a donation to the Blue Beautiful Skies Fund for Lung Cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center- The James. Donations help fund breakthroughs\, offer hope\, and remind everyone that they don’t face this disease alone. Together\, we walk to remember\, to educate\, and to help every breath count. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Muddy Duck! Get down in the muck and run like a duck!​We’re not really sure what that line means but it sounds good so we are going with it! But for real\, let’s get muddy! With the coming of spring the foliage will be blooming\, eggs will be hatching\, and we’ll be running! \n\n\n\nThe Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek is the only trail built by runners for runners! One of the unique elements of the trail is that every season brings new experiences on the trail. Our Winter Series is famous for it’s bitter cold and snow! The Firefly pits runners against the dark of night. Hoot is HOT\, and Squatch brings the best of the fall color change. Now with the Muddy Duck we encourage you to strap on your gators and get ready for a muddy\, mucky run! \n\n\n\nWhen – Saturday\, April 4. \n\n\n\n\n10K\, 20K\, or 50K  start at 8am. \n\n\n\n6K starts at 8:05ish\n\n\n\n\nWhat – 6K\, 10K\, 20K\, or 50K Trail Race \n\n\n\nWhere – The Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park.
