DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Fundraise\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n[] -Race Website\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBreathe Strong 5K is more than a run or walk—it’s a movement to honor lives touched by lung cancer and to fight for a future with earlier detection\, better treatments\, and stronger support. Lung cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths and often shows little to no warning until it has progressed\, making awareness and education lifesaving. \n\n\n\nAt the event\, we will provide critical information about lung cancer risks\, warning signs\, screening\, and information on support resources for patients and families. All proceeds from the Breathe Strong 5K will directly support lung cancer research and family support groups through a donation to the Blue Beautiful Skies Fund for Lung Cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center- The James. Donations help fund breakthroughs\, offer hope\, and remind everyone that they don’t face this disease alone. Together\, we walk to remember\, to educate\, and to help every breath count. We are thankful for the generous support from the Mary Ann Kirkby Living with Lung Cancer Fund at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for the event T-shirts. \n\n\n\nRegister by 03/01/2026 to guarantee your selected T-shirt size. Registrations after 03/01/2026 will receive a T-shirt based on the available sizes. \n\n\n\nUse this link to access parking information at the Ohio Stadium Lot: \n\n\n\nhttps://www.offstreet.io/events/F91CRTYUuse this code for parking: LCW26 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice Schedule5KThrough Race Day$20\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events10:30am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Begins10:30am: Booths Open11:30am: Participants Line up for pre-race announcements12:00pm: 5K Run/Walk Begins4:30pm: Booths Close\n\n\n\n\n\nSWAG \n\n\n\nComing Soon! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Map \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Fundraise\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n[] – Race Website\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Facebook\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith our partners at Asics and Race Penguin\, we’re happy to bring back\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Fast Rabbits Summer Nights Race Series!!!\n\n\n\nPresented by: Asics and Race Penguin\n\n\n\nCome race with Fast Rabbits all summer long!  \n\n\n\nOne of the most frequent questions we get about Youth Running is “What are some kid friendly races that have a lot of kids running?”   \n\n\n\nWhile we can always recommend any Race Penguin event\, we thought to ourselves: there should be a kid-centered event. One where kids could come and try out running events if they were new to it\, or challenge themselves to run further or faster than they had before. Maybe even get ready for their cross country season in the fall! \n\n\n\nSo what is this?\n\n\n\nA three event race series to take place in June\, July\, and August! \n\n\n\nRACE DATESJUNE 11th JULY 16thAUGUST 13thThe races will start promptly at 6:00pm in the evening\, so parents and kiddos can get to the races on time!  \n\n\n\nSounds great! Where are the races?\n\n\n\nWe have a loop course at Glacier Ridge Metro Park. The races will start at the Dog Park area of the park (Google Maps pin here)Course Map (1 and 2 mile options)available here Course Map (1/2 mile option) available here \n\n\n\nThat’s fun! How much does it cost?\n\n\n\nIndividual events are $15.00 each\, with an optional t-shirt add-on of $10.  \n\n\n\nIf you sign up for all 3 events at once the cost is $40. \n\n\n\nThat’s a great deal for a summer of racing! \n\n\n\nAnything else I should know?\n\n\n\nOur partners at Asics will be at each event to hand out fun goodies and some snacks for pre/post run. \n\n\n\nWe’ll have some popsicles for after the race for athletes and parents to enjoy! \n\n\n\nMake sure to craft a sign at packet pick-up to help you cheer on your young athlete! \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer while your youngin runs? Can they switch distances? \n\n\n\nSure thing! We understand that young athletes have their ups and downs just like adult athletes. It’s best to talk with your athlete multiple times before race day to see what distance they’d like to run. Try to ask them if they’d like to beat their previous best mile time\, or try a new distance. It’s always good to remind athletes that it’s ok to be nervous about a race\, but just remind them that they’ll learn something from each race experience no matter how it goes. \n\n\n\nAthletes should try to make their decision before the race if possible\, but if they need to switch after doing one loop they need to immediately tell the Race Penguin timing staff so we can ensure correct results. If they are switching from the 1/2-mile race to another distance\, DO NOT START WITH THE OTHER 1/2 MILE RACERS.
