DESCRIPTION:The 2022 Wattle will take place on Grove City\, Ohio’s Buckeye Parkway. This will be our 11th Consecutive Wattle. We plan to offer a:Primrose Children’s Run; Turkey Leg 100 Run; 5K Walk/Run; and a 13.4  Mile Rotisserie Roll Bike Ride.  All of this is set for November 24\, 2022. \nParticipants in the Turkey Leg 100\, 5k Run/Walk and 12 Mile Rotisserie Roll Bike Ride will receive a Pumpkin Pie at the Finish. Long sleeve Shirts will also be given out at Event Week packet pick up. We will have music on the course\, at the Finish Line and we will offer Finish Line Refreshments. There will be no water station on the course. NEW IN 2022; Finisher Medals will be available for $5 as an add-on item only. 750 in total were ordered. As of 10/1/2022\, 600 remain inventory. The race will be the 2022 Ohio State Championship Road Race for both Men’s and Women’s Categories 1-4. The day will consist of 6 races\, ranging from 30 to 90 miles. Each race will complete a series of 15-mile laps through the countryside\, with sprint points awarded at the end of each lap. Category as well as sprint competition prizes will be up for grabs\, making each loop through the finish a thrilling ride for riders and spectators alike. Participants and spectators will be invited to take part in our block party during and after the events of the day. SUMMARY:TLS Alpaca Trot
DESCRIPTION:Join The Learning Spectrum and Learning 4 Life Farm for the third annual TLS Alpaca Trot to benefit Learning 4 Life Farm job training for autism. We’re returning this year with a 1 mile fun walk/run AND a 5k trail run at beautiful Infirmary Mound Park in Granville. Kids\, families\, walkers and runners welcome! Invite your family and friends to sponsor you to help us build our job training farm for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum. And don’t forget your custom-made TLS Alpaca Trot Tshirt\, designed by a TLS student on the autism spectrum in our annual Tshirt Design Contest. 5k registration fee includes a Tshirt\, and 1 mile participants can order a Tshirt as an add-on. Please note\, we are planning an in-person event with a virtual option for COVID safety. \nThe Learning Spectrum (TLS) provides educational and therapy services to preK-12th grade students on the autism spectrum in central Ohio.
