The Great Human Race is a fun, family-friendly 5k run/walk to support the Mayerson JCC and the Holocaust & Humanity Center. These organizations serve as homes for the greater community to celebrate diversity and inclusion and foster understanding of each individual. The Mayerson JCC is a community-based non-profit agency, providing services to individuals of all ages and abilities, from infants through senior adults. Founded in 1932, the Mayerson JCC serves as a welcoming place for experiencing ideas, customs, assistance, and services. The Mayerson JCC provides the Jewish and non-Jewish communities of Greater Cincinnati with resources, facilities, and programs that enhance their physical, intellectual, and social lives. The JCC welcomes everyone, regardless of race, religion, or ability.
The Holocaust & Humanity Center exists to ensure the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today. HHC educates about the Holocaust, remembers its victims and acts on its lessons. Through innovative programs and partnerships, HHC challenges injustice, inhumanity and prejudice, and fosters understanding, inclusion and engaged citizenship. HHC impacts over 100,000 individuals each year.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Mayerson JCC and the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center.
