Join us for the 19th Annual Defend Your Friend 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! This is a fun and casual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run that you can run/walk with your children and dogs. All proceeds from the race benefit Columbus Humane animal cruelty investigations and impact thousands of pets annually. Amplify your support by creating a fundraising team and asking friends and family to support your efforts. Watch your impact multiply and compete to be one of the top fundraising teams.
Day-of registration is available starting at 7:00 AM. The first race heat will start at 9AM. The race will start and finish at the Darby Bend Lakes entrance at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. After the race, plan to hang out in the Fan Fest area to meet local businesses and learn more about animal cruelty investigations from Columbus Humane.
