Aruna is an international human rights non-profit dedicated to creating lifelong freedom for survivors of human trafficking. The Aruna Run Race Series is the catalyst of the freedom process with 100% of registration fees and additional donations going to help free trafficked women. So grab some friends, lace up your shoes, and let’s run together for her freedom!
What: 5k & 1-Mile
When: June 20th, 2026 at 9:00am
Where: Prairie Oaks Metro Park, Northeast Plain City-Georgesville Road, West Jefferson, OH
When you participate in the Aruna Run, you run or walk to help bring freedom to an enslaved woman by name. You will then receive updates on her journey to freedom throughout the year. The race giveaway items are all hand-made by freed Aruna Artisans.

- 5K & 1-Mile Race Awards:
- Top female and male finisher of each race will receive an Aruna Dopp Kit Bag and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card. Top finisher awards will be given at the finish line.
- Individual Fundraising Award:
- The top fundraiser will receive an Aruna Dopp Kit Bag and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card. Given at the finish line.
- Team Fundraising Award:
- Top fundraising team – Team Pizza Party! Gift certificate sent to team captain the week following the run.
