DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Special Olympics Blue Lodge Run will support the community\, children’s hospitals\, and people in need. Our goal is to help other organizations\, connect with the community\, let the community know that the Freemasons are here to help by promoting camaraderie\, support\, and brotherhood. \nWe are working with Special Olympics to sponsor the event and help those in need in our community. We will have a bevy of local sponsors and various organizations within Free and Accepted Masonry will be participating in the event. While University Lodge 631 is the primary sponsor\, we will enjoy the support of other local lodges\, the Scottish Rite\, York Rite\, and the Shriners. \nThe event will kick off at 9:30 a.m at the Northwest Masonic Temple on March 30\, 2019 at 2436 West Dublin Granville Road\, Columbus\, Ohio 43235. We will have a kids fun run followed by the 5k through the Brookside neighborhood. We will be providing a t-shirt\, snacks\, and information to help you enjoy the day. We hope you will join us. SUMMARY:Krista McDonald 5k Run

DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n  \nPolice Wives of Ohio was founded in 2012 by Anna S. and has grown into an organization with four charters. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support to Law Enforcement and their families throughout the State of Ohio. Police Wives of Ohio has sent out hundreds of cards and many care packages to injured Law Enforcement Officers. Our team has raised more than $6\,000 for the families of injured and families of fallen officers. For Police week PWOO members provided over 5\,000 officers with goody bags\, food\, and more to show them that we care and are proud of the hard work they put in every day with little to no thanks. For more information about Police Wives of Ohio\, please visit our website at www.policewivesofohio.org. While our past work has consistently been raised through donations\, with the growing need for support\, our budget must now be supplemented with fundraising. With that in mind\, the Mansfield Area Charter of Police Wives of Ohio will be hosting a 5K on September 8\, 2018. We can’t think of a better day to show our thanks and support for law enforcement officers in the Mansfield area! \nWe cordially invite you to participate in the 3rd Annual Donut Dash 5K. SUMMARY:Abe Weinrib Memorial 5k
DESCRIPTION:Abram “Abe” Weinrib said the secret to a long life is kindness. A Holocaust survivor\, he passed away on January 4\, 2015 at the age of 102. His gentle smile and positive outlook could often be found in the Diamond Family Fitness Center where he would work out and stay fit\, well into his 90s. He visited with friends at the JCC every day\, which kept him young and vibrant. His presence is still felt throughout the Center\, where his youthful spirit lives on. We honor his memory and love of physical fitness with The Abe Weinrib Memorial 5K and Kids Dash.  \nEvent will begin and end on the back grounds of the JCC and heads out to the beautifully-paved Alum Creek Bike Trail. Strollers and walkers are welcome! All proceeds go to the scholarship fund for students studying to be oncology nurses through CU. \nThe Linda A. Ferguson Memorial 5K was established in 2011 in memory of Linda A. Ferguson.  Linda continuously gave of her life to others\, and now is our chance to carry on her legacy. 100% registration fees go into a scholarship fund for students studying to be oncology nurses. They will help care for patients with cancer and carry light to places we can never go. The 5K is full of fun! We have an amazing raffle selection. We have great music and a beautiful course!
