The featured rocket will be portrayed on the event’s official race shirts\, finisher medals\, commemorative patches\, and more throughout 2025. \n\n\n\nFor nearly three decades\, the Delta II rocket stood as a pillar of reliability and performance. Over 29 years\, it completed 155 launches\, including an extraordinary streak of 100 consecutive successes\, culminating in the flawless delivery of NASA’s ICESat-2 mission. \n\n\n\nDelta II carried some of the most iconic payloads in space exploration and communications history. There is a Kid’s run (Little Gobbler) for ages 8 and under. There is a 5K and a 1.5 mile option for the run/walk\, and virtual option. \n\n\n\nNew Course in 2025.  \n\n\n\nGet ready for a scenic and festive Thanksgiving run through the heart of downtown Delaware!Your race begins and ends on charming East Winter Street\, near the library\, passing by local favorites The Strand Theatre\, 1808 and Mi Cerrito on your way to dash up historic Sandusky Street. Then it’s a smooth cruise down Wilmer before hitting an out-and-back stretch on Henry Street — a perfect place to find your rhythm. Then a unique crossing over the pedestrian bridge above Route 23\, offering epic views and a fun change of pace. From there\, it’s a final push down East Winter to the finish line celebration where it all began. \n\n\n\nThis the Thanksgiving Day tradition your family will look forward to every year! \n\n\n\nPlease note: portions of this course are coned down the middle\, maintaining traffic patterns\, so please be aware and stay inside the designed course. Sandusky Street from William to Wilmer will have the parking lane and one lane to run in (running on the far left lane). Additionally Winter Street from Lake St to Estelle St will be coned down the middle (runners on the right lane). \n\n\n\nRun for a Cause. This event donates 100% of it’s proceeds to the Autism Society Central OH (ASCO). We’ve donated nearly $232\,000 to date. DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWipe Out Cancer 5K is raising money for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation\, as the search for a cure for Multiple Myeloma. The Wipe out Cancer 5k is being organized as a fund raiser for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) and all proceeds will be donated to the organization. \n\n\n\nA little back story on the race director: \n\n\n\n“I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer in Oct 2020. Multiple Myeloma is the second most common form of blood cancer and has a 5-year survival rate of about 60%. By March of 2021\, they were able to get it into remission\, it will come back. On March 24\, 2021\, I was admitted into the James and received my dose of Chemo. On March 26\,2021\, I received some of my Stem Cells back and then was released 10 days later the cancer being in remission. It is still in remission today\, I know the cancer will come back\, as there is no cure as of today\, and this is where MMRF comes into play. They are searching for a cure for Multiple Myeloma\, but as of today\, there has been great progress in keeping the cancer in remission\, but no cure. Before the cancer\, and for the past 14 years\, I have done many races. Anything from the London Marathon to the Spartan Beast. 5k’s\, 10k’s\, 15k’s\, half marathons and 25k’s. I wanted to keep going after my treatment and 11 months after the treatments\, I was able to complete the Warmup Columbus Half Marathon and 2 weeks later the Ft. Lauderdale A1A Half Marathon. \n\n\n\nIn return for my fundraising\, I was given an entry into the NYC Marathon on November 2\,2025. This will be my 2nd World major\, with London being completed April 2024. A strong primary care based health system leads to better health and better care at a lower cost. The Foundation is the only 501(c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization in Ohio that exists to promote family medicine as a career choice to medical students and family medicine residents – building a strong family medicine workforce for Ohio. \nFoundation programs have benefited thousands of Ohio medical students and residents through educational grants\, preceptorship stipends\, and scholarships. With a unique start time of 9:00 pm\, to recognize the solemnity of the Purple Heart Medal\, this will surely be a race like no other! \nThe organization now known as the “Military Order of the Purple Heart” was formed in 1932 for the protection and mutual interest of all who have received the decoration. Composed exclusively of Purple Heart recipients\, it is the only veteran’s service organization comprised strictly of combat veterans. Buckeye Purple Heart Foundation is an IRS tax exempt 501(c)19 & 501(c)3 Veterans Service Organization and incorporated in the State of Ohio. Our annual event is held on the Saturday closest to National Purple Heart Day (August 7th). DESCRIPTION:  \nThe purpose of The Crawford Crew’s 5K is to Raise Awareness of HPV-Related Cancers and to support families in need of health and wellness support. Each year in the U.S.\, an estimated 26\,000 new cancers are attributed to HPV\, which is associated with 6 types of cancer. Strength in Colors (SIC) will bring awareness to the 6 cancers and the ribbon colors that represent each of them.
