DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Miles for Manufacturing (M4M) 5K Run/Walk is a beloved tradition at IMTS\, uniting the manufacturing community around two shared passions: staying active and giving back. Launched at IMTS 2014\, the event has raised more than $250\,000 to date-all of which goes directly to STEM programs around the country that prepare the next generation of innovators\, makers and problem solvers; that 100% impact is possible because IMTS covers every production expense- from shirts\, timing gear to permits and signage. Thanks to this support\, every sponsorship dollar and every runner’s registration fee is invested in manufacturing education. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice Schedule5K1 MileThrough September 15th$40$30Race Day$45$35\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events6:15am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Begins at DuSable Harbor7:00am: 5k & 1 Mile Run / Walk BeginsRace Day pickup ends at 6:45am\n\n\n\n\n\nPre-Race Packet Pickup \n\n\n\nSunday\, September 13th: 12:00pm – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\nMonday\, September 14th: 10:00am – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\nTuesday\, September 15th: 10:00am – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSWAG \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Map \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

However\, these sources of funding are not sufficient to provide medical care for the Shelter dogs that need more than basic services. \n\n\n\nThe Friends of the Shelter was formed in 2003 to save these sick or injured—but otherwise adoptable—dogs so they can be adopted into loving\, forever families. \n\n\n\nFriends of the Shelter is an all-volunteer group of local individuals who donate their time to the day-to-day operations of the organization. Additionally\, the volunteers plan and coordinate fundraising events\, marketing and public relations projects and provide accounting and legal guidance. As an all-volunteer group\, the organization is able to keep overhead very low\, allowing over 95% of donations to help our shelter dogs in need. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nPrice Schedule5KMarch 1 – September 25$35Race Day$40\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events8:00 am: Registration opens / Packet Pick-up / Vendor Booths open9:00 am: Race Start10:00 am: Vendor expo; stick around for prizes\, raffles\, and auctions!\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Map\n\n\n\nView Route Details Create routes or search for a route at MapMyRun. \n\n\n\nAwards\n\n\n\nTop 5 MenTop 5 WomenTop 5 Runners with Dog \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Race Website\n\n\n\n – Register\n\n\n\n – Fundraise/Donate\n\n\n\n – Race Results\n\n\n\n – Submit Virtual Result\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Facebook\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
