Race participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal\, a virtual sponsor packet\, and can upload their self-recorded results to the leader board. \nFamily physicians provide comprehensive\, continuing care to all members of the family\, and high quality\, cost effective care to patients of all ages and gender. A strong primary care based health system leads to better health and better care at a lower cost. The Foundation is the only 501(c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization in Ohio that exists to promote family medicine as a career choice to medical students and family medicine residents – building a strong family medicine workforce for Ohio. \nFoundation programs have benefited thousands of Ohio medical students and residents through educational grants\, preceptorship stipends\, and scholarships. The Friends organization raises money to pay for the rent\, utilities and other miscellaneous operating costs to maintain a library in Buckeye Lake. The Licking County Library System provides the staff\, books and computers.\nThe 5/10K Run/Walk has been a major fundraiser for the organization. The Event was moved in 2019 to the very scenic Buckeye Lake Dam that runs between Buckeye Lake Village and Millersport. This is a fully paved flat route that lies between the lovely homes on North and West Bank and the lake.
