DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Autumn Squatch!​ Run\, Hike or Volunteer! \n\n\n\nLurking deep in the woods the Autumn Squatch awaits. Will you brave the elements to track him down??​Each year just as the season turns\, hundreds of Squatch enthusiasts descend upon the woods of Alum Creek in search of the elusive Autumn Squatch.  The first recorded sighting was in the fall of 2012\, with multiple sightings over the years. \n\n\n\n​The Autumn Squatch is most commonly seen poking around the Rocks and Roots trail on late autumn nights as he passes through on his way south for the winter. To celebrate the coming of the Squatch we invite you to join us in hopes of catching a glimpse!​ \n\n\n\nWhen – Sunday\, November 1st. All races start at 8am.  \n\n\n\nWhat –  10K\, 20K\, or 50K Trail Race \n\n\n\nWhere – The Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park. The start of the race is located just off of Hollenback Rd and just south of the dog park(3993 Hollenback Rd Lewis Center\, OH 43035). \n\n\n\nCost – Our races typically sell out 2-6 weeks prior to race day. Please note: The Autumn Squatch has a NO REFUND and NO BIB TRANSFER policy for all events. \n\n\n\n\nThrough August 15th – $45\n\n\n\nAugust 16 – September 15 – $50\n\n\n\nSeptember 16 – October 15 – $55\n\n\n\nOctober 16 – October 31 – $60\n\n\n\nRace Day – $70​\n\n\n\n\nWhat do you get?  \n\n\n\n\nEpic trail race experience!\n\n\n\nEvent Shirt\n\n\n\nEvent Medal​\n\n\n\n\nCan’t run\, but want to be a part of the craziness? Click here to sign up and get a voucher for your help! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPacket Pick Up  \n\n\n\n\nPacket pickup will be held at Fleet Feet Sports in Lewis Center before the event on Friday and Saturdaybefore the race during normal business hours.\n\n\n\nRace day packet pickup will beginning at 7am at the race site at Alum Creek State Park.​\n\n\n\n\nThe Course – Course layout is subject to change. Click here to view the Rocks And Roots Trail Map! \n\n\n\n\nThe start of the race is located just off of Hollenback Rd and just south of the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd Lewis Center\, OH 43035). Watch for Fleet Feet arrows pointing you in the right direction!\n\n\n\nNorth Loop is run first in clockwise direction for first 10K.\n\n\n\nSouth Loop is run next in counter-clockwise direction for second 10K.\n\n\n\nLoops alternate as needed to completion distance.​\n\n\n\n\nCut-off Time \n\n\n\nThe course closes for 50Kers at 4:00pm (8 hour limit – 15:27 pace for 50K). All 50K participants must begin their 4th lap before 1:00pm. SUMMARY:Helping Heroes Veterans Day 10K
DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Facebook\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHelping Heroes brought back a Wheeling Favorite. It is the same race\, with a similar mission: Supporting Local Veterans. This is a point-to-point road 10k with rolling hills.The Race starts in front of Bridge Street Middle. It turns left at the light and continues on National Road\, through Elm Grove\, Dimmydale\, Woodsdale\, all the way up to the Mount Wood Overlook. Then downhill on Stone Blvd into Chapline Street. Finishing with a turn onto 16th street in front of Helping Heroes new headquarters. \n\n\n\n• Packet pickup and day of registration will occur at Bridge Street Middle School Parking Lot starting at 7:30 am• Suggested parking is downtown (street parking around 14th Street\, Northern Community College lots or Wesbanco Arena Parking Garage.• Buses will take participants from downtown to the start line at Bridge Street Middle School. Buses will leave from 44 16th Street at approx. at 7:30\, 7:45\, 8:00 and 8:15.• You can park at Bridge Street Middle. But no buses will run to Bridge Street after the event.• The Award Ceremony starts at 10:30 for Runners and 11:30 for Walkers.
