SUMMARY:Fast Rabbits Summer Nights Youth Race Series: June
DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Facebook\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith our partners at Asics and Race Penguin\, we’re happy to bring back\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Fast Rabbits Summer Nights Race Series!!!\n\n\n\nPresented by: Asics and Race Penguin\n\n\n\nCome race with Fast Rabbits all summer long!  \n\n\n\nOne of the most frequent questions we get about Youth Running is “What are some kid friendly races that have a lot of kids running?”   \n\n\n\nWhile we can always recommend any Race Penguin event\, we thought to ourselves: there should be a kid-centered event. One where kids could come and try out running events if they were new to it\, or challenge themselves to run further or faster than they had before. Maybe even get ready for their cross country season in the fall! \n\n\n\nSo what is this?\n\n\n\nA three event race series to take place in June\, July\, and August! \n\n\n\nRACE DATESJUNE 11th JULY 16thAUGUST 13thThe races will start promptly at 6:00pm in the evening\, so parents and kiddos can get to the races on time!  \n\n\n\nSounds great! Where are the races?\n\n\n\nWe have a loop course at Glacier Ridge Metro Park. The races will start at the Dog Park area of the park (Google Maps pin here)Course Map (1 and 2 mile options)available here Course Map (1/2 mile option) available here \n\n\n\nThat’s fun! How much does it cost?\n\n\n\nIndividual events are $15.00 each\, with an optional t-shirt add-on of $10.  \n\n\n\nIf you sign up for all 3 events at once the cost is $40. \n\n\n\nThat’s a great deal for a summer of racing! \n\n\n\nAnything else I should know?\n\n\n\nOur partners at Asics will be at each event to hand out fun goodies and some snacks for pre/post run. \n\n\n\nWe’ll have some popsicles for after the race for athletes and parents to enjoy! \n\n\n\nMake sure to craft a sign at packet pick-up to help you cheer on your young athlete! \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer while your youngin runs? Click here and earn a Fleet Feet Voucher for your efforts!\n\n\n\nRace day schedule is listed below:\n\n\n\nRegistration tables open at 5:15pm(registration and PPU will be manned through 7:30pm)  \n\n\n\n1/4-mile race (5 and Under ONLY): 5:55pm1/2-mile race: 6:05pm1-mile (Grades K-5): 6:20pm1-mile (Grades 6-12): 6:35pmAll-Comer’s (Adults) Mile: 6:50pm2-mile (Grades K-5): 7:05pm2-Mile (Grades 6-12): 7:35pm(kindly note this schedule might change before race day based on registration and/or other factors) \n\n\n\nMy athlete has never raced before\, can I run with them?\n\n\n\nYes\, you can! \n\n\n\nHowever due to to course and safety limitations we must stipulate that only 1 parent of a registered athlete can run with them at a time.  \n\n\n\nOtherwise\, we ask that adults stay off the course as much as possible and let the kids have their fun! \n\n\n\n Oh\, What about Packet Pick-Up? Where/when will that be?\n\n\n\nPacket pick-up will be at the Fleet Feet Lewis Center location (google maps address here) \n\n\n\nThe event series packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Lewis Center.PPU Dates/Times are as follows:Wednesday June 11th 11am-5:15pm \n\n\n\nWednesday July 9th 11am – 5:15pm \n\n\n\nWednesday August 13th 11am – 4:30pm \n\n\n\nWill there be on-site Race Day registration and/or Packet Pick-Up?\n\n\n\nWe will have race day registration\, and packet pick-up!If you are registering on-site on race day\, be sure to bring your phone and/or credit card as our friends at Race Penguin will have a QR code to sign up using your phone.Volunteers may be able to assist you by walking you through on your phone\, but may not be able to help sign you up. \n\n\n\nHow do I choose the distance my athlete will race? Can they switch distances? \n\n\n\nSure thing! We understand that young athletes have their ups and downs just like adult athletes. It’s best to talk with your athlete multiple times before race day to see what distance they’d like to run. Try to ask them if they’d like to beat their previous best mile time\, or try a new distance. It’s always good to remind athletes that it’s ok to be nervous about a race\, but just remind them that they’ll learn something from each race experience no matter how it goes. \n\n\n\nAthletes should try to make their decision before the race if possible\, but if they need to switch after doing one loop they need to immediately tell the Race Penguin timing staff so we can ensure correct results. If they are switching from the 1/2-mile race to another distance\, DO NOT START WITH THE OTHER 1/2 MILE RACERS. Please see the Race Penguin staff before the start of the race you’re planning on racing so they can switch you. \n\n\n\nYou will select your distance FOR ALL THREE EVENTS during registration. If you need to switch a distance for a particular event\, please reach out as soon as possible. \n\n\n\nBring a used piece of athletic equipment to any of the races\, and receive a portion of your race fee refunded!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re partnering with Leveling the Playing Field a wonderful organization that collects new and lightly used athletic equipment to expand access in youth sports and recreation programs in under-resourced communities in central Ohio. We’ll have collection bins at each of the races\, so please bring some lightly used or new athletic equipment for us to collect together! \n\n\n\nWe’ll collect your registration information and issue the refunds after the races!Click here to view their website and learn more! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Register\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n – Facebook\n\n\n\n – Instagram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SUMMARY:Fast Rabbits Summer Nights Youth Race Series: July

SUMMARY:Miles for Manufacturing IMTS
DESCRIPTION:– Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Miles for Manufacturing (M4M) 5K Run/Walk is a beloved tradition at IMTS\, uniting the manufacturing community around two shared passions: staying active and giving back. Launched at IMTS 2014\, the event has raised more than $250\,000 to date-all of which goes directly to STEM programs around the country that prepare the next generation of innovators\, makers and problem solvers; that 100% impact is possible because IMTS covers every production expense- from shirts\, timing gear to permits and signage. Thanks to this support\, every sponsorship dollar and every runner’s registration fee is invested in manufacturing education. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice Schedule5K1 MileThrough September 15th$40$30Race Day$45$35\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events6:15am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Begins at DuSable Harbor7:00am: 5k & 1 Mile Run / Walk BeginsRace Day pickup ends at 6:45am\n\n\n\n\n\nPre-Race Packet Pickup \n\n\n\nSunday\, September 13th: 12:00pm – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\nMonday\, September 14th: 10:00am – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\nTuesday\, September 15th: 10:00am – 5:00pm McCormick Place Level 2.5\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSWAG \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Map \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n – Register\n\n\n\n – Donate\n\n\n\n – Results\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
