This race is to raise money in support of the work of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Delaware and Union Counties. CASA is a program that advocates in court for child victims of abuse and neglect. Community volunteers serve as CASA’s, and donate their time and resources to provide invaluable advocacy for children. All proceeds raised through this event will go toward supporting the volunteers with items like gas cards, with $10 of every registration fee specifically used to purchase teddy bears for children involved with CASA. Each participant will receive an event medal, an event shirt, snacks, and drinks. We welcome race participants, event volunteers, and corporate sponsors.
