Alpha Duck Waddle 5K & Duck Races + Kids Fest & YMCA Fun Run
Come to Historic Delaware for the 3rd Annual Alpha 5K Duck Waddle and Duck Races. This event is held at Mingo Park in Delaware on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 from 8 am to noon, with the 9 am start. Runners of all levels and abilities are invited to participate. Whether you are setting a world record, personal best or just want to have fun, we need your help to support the Alpha Group’s continuing mission of “Helping individuals with disabilities succeed”. Plan to stick around following the 5K for the exciting NEW KIDS FEST & Duck Races. We have 4 heats of Duck Races with a Grand Finale. NEW, FREE Kids Fun Run Contest with free pass to Mingo Pool sponsored by the YMCA along with fitness activities lead by our special guest, Dr. Health E. Hound from United Healthcare.
Winners of the duck races will receive CASH PRIZES AND DUCK TROPHIES. Get creative! DUCK costumes are highly encouraged. Fun for the whole family. Face painting, Carnival Games, Live Music, Bounce Houses by Hypersounds Entertainment. See website to adopt-a-duck and registration.
