It will include a custom KJ’s 5k t-shirt & a unique custom designed finishers medal. Submit Your Virtual Results. Submit Your Virtual Results \n\n\n\nOrganization:We run in support of local Mental Health and Animal Rescue organizations. \n\n\n\nKJ’s 5K aims to stem the tide of the suicide epidemic. For the last 23 years\, the suicide rate has increased nationwide by over 37.1%. In 2023 alone\, the U.S. recorded over 49\,000 deaths by suicide\, over 1.5 million suicide attempts and 1 death every 11 minutes. Here in Summit County\, the suicide rate stands at 17 per 100\,000\, or nearly 15% ABOVE the national average.  \n\n\n\nBy attending KJ’s 5k\, you can make a difference!  Join us on Saturday\, October 4th\, 2025 to support suicide prevention and education in Summit County and help take care of homeless animals. Proceeds benefit Portage Path Behavioral Health and select animal charities. Donations can also be given by going to this linked fundraiser page. DESCRIPTION:Gravel Day offers unique adventures for Pelotonia participants on the scenic\, gravel roads of beautiful Southeast Ohio. \n\n\n\nGravel Day Riders can select from 11\, 25\, and 48-mile looped cycling route options through the hills of Athens County. \n\n\n\nNEW for 2025: introducing the Trail Run/Hike! Gravel Day’s newest adventure will offer a 5K looped route through the picturesque property of Snow Fork Event Center\, with runners and hikers able to complete the route twice if a 10K total distance is desired. \n\n\n\nParticipants may opt to challenge themselves to both ride and run/hike at Gravel Day. This year’s 5K will be October 4th at Rocky River Reservation.\n\n\n\n1.8 billion people around the world don’t have access to safe water and 2.4 billion lack access to adequate sanitation.
