The Friends organization raises money to pay for the rent\, utilities and other miscellaneous operating costs to maintain a library in Buckeye Lake. The Licking County Library System provides the staff\, books and computers.\nThe 5/10K Run/Walk has been a major fundraiser for the organization. The Event was moved in 2019 to the very scenic Buckeye Lake Dam that runs between Buckeye Lake Village and Millersport. This is a fully paved flat route that lies between the lovely homes on North and West Bank and the lake.
