SUMMARY:Can't STOP Won't STOP Running - Summer Mile Club
DESCRIPTION:  \nCan’t STOP Won’t STOP Running.  Regardless of your running ability\, we challenge you to challenge yourself and go beyond your limits.  Run or walk\, this is not about the fastest\, but those that can remain consistent and endure over 10 weeks. Runners will log their miles on Strava between June 1\, 2020\, and August 9\, 2020\, after which time\, all runners that complete over 200 miles will have their name added to the back of the t-shirt.  The question isn’t will you challenge yourself\, but how far will you push your limits. The answer remains to be seen; where will your name fall? \nMake sure you click the Strava link below and join our club. We will be tallying miles off the clubs page weekly\, and updating a leader board each Monday.  Your shirt will be mailed out the week of August 17th – once final miles are calculated and the shirts are ready. Final leader board will be up on August 10th. \n\nDon’t Have STRAVA\, and don’t want to signup – that’s fine… We’ll email out a form that can be submitted with your miles. \nGoal mileage tiers for the 10 week period will be as follows: \n100 miles (10miles/week) \n200 miles (20miles/week) \n350 miles (35miles/week) \n500 miles (50miles/week) \n750 miles (75miles/week) \n1\,000 miles (100miles/week) \nWe ask you to select a goal mileage during registration. SUMMARY:OASL Lead the Way Virtual 5k and 10k
DESCRIPTION:  \nSince 1953\, The Ohio Association of Student Leaders has provided engaging leadership development opportunities for Ohio’s secondary school students. Through our creative\, experiential programs\, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their goals. We emphasize building self-awareness and self-esteem as a path to responsible decision-making and the practice of good citizenship. Students thrive through the exchange of ideas and the positive\, diverse connections they form with each other. OASL encourages students to get involved and make positive impacts in their schools and communities. \nYour participation in the Lead the Way 5K and 10K will help to insure we are able to continue offering our quality\, life-changing programs at the most affordable cost possible. Our fundraising efforts also enable us to offer partial and/or full scholarships to allow more students to participate. \nMore than ever\, students need to believe in themselves and in their ability to make a difference for others. They need to recognize that leadership starts with service. OASL’s ongoing mission is to help develop strong leaders for stronger communities\, now and in the future. \nOASL VIDEOS\n \nTESTIMONIAL\n \nSUMMER WORKSHOP: REIMAGINED\n \nSWAG\nAll participants will receive a vintage style cotton t-shirt\, and a finisher medal.  You will receive these items\, in the mail\, in time for race day if you register prior to June 15th. If you register June 15 or after – we will make an effort for you to receive them – but\, cannot guarantee delivery before the race. \n \nMAILING\nAll SWAG items will be mailed to the address to enter while registering. If you live in Columbus\, and would like to get your items in person. We will have packet pickup options the week prior to the race. \nVIRTUAL RESULTS\nYou will be able to post your virtual results during the race period – June 19-July 5.  You run on your own course\, at your own time.
