SUMMARY:4 x 1 mile x 2 hours Team Challenge
DESCRIPTION:We love virtual events. But\, there’s so much we miss about racing… \nThe course… \nThe timing… \nThe competition… \nThe team… \nHere’s our take on a race challenge that will allow you and your team to compete for Citywide bragging rights. \nTHE RACE\nRace in person on a set course\, get true timed results\, all while meeting social distancing guidelines. \nThe race is $100.00 per team (4 runners @ $25/each). You must register all 4 people at the same time. Everyone must be in the same race (mens/women/coed)\, and you must put everyone on the same team. \nWhen you register for the race you will select a time slot. During that time slot your team will be the only 4 people on race site. Your team will rotate through a 1 mile loop course\, each person takes a turn\, then another\, then another\, then another.  Completing as many laps as they can during the 2 hour window.  You will run with a track baton that contains an timing chip.  Your laps will be counted electronically\, and results will be updated as each team finishes.  We will even capture finisher photos for each member of each team!! \nRace will be scored as men’s teams\, women’s teams\, and co-ed teams (2 men\, 2 women). We’ll also have masters category (all members age 40+) of each division.  Let’s have some fun with this and see who’s the fastest in Columbus. \nTIME SLOTS\nMay 22nd – 31st \nEach Day (weekends and weekdays) the following time slots will be available \n6:00-8:00am \n9:00-11:00am \n12:00-2:00pm \n3:00-5:00pm \n6:00-8:00pm \n5 slots per day for 10 days. Max of 50 teams in this challenge so signup quickly!! \nIMPORTANT DETAILS\nYes – I did just create the logo right now in Microsoft paint : ) \nRace will be held at RacePenguin Columbus Headquarters:\n1479 Delashmut Ave\nColumbus\, OH 43212 \nOnly one team per time slot. We encourage spectators to stay home athletes only \nWe encourage our athletes to bring masks while waiting to run\, and we will have ground markers to keep everyone 6′ apart while at the start area \nThere will be restrooms\, music\, and water on location. But\, bring water bottles (or cups\, or whatever vessel of your choosing)\, and your own snacks. \nCourse will be on public sidewalk\, open to walkers\, dogs\, other runners\, whoever. This also means driveways and cars.  There are no traffic lights\, or major intersections… But\, a few small side streets where the car should stop\, and you have the right of way on the sidewalk – but\, be smart\, and safe. \nCOURSE
