SUMMARY:Police Wives of Ohio\, Mansfield Area Charter's Donut Dash 5k
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \n  \nPolice Wives of Ohio was founded in 2012 by Anna S. and has grown into an organization with four charters. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support to Law Enforcement and their families throughout the State of Ohio. Police Wives of Ohio has sent out hundreds of cards and many care packages to injured Law Enforcement Officers. Our team has raised more than $6\,000 for the families of injured and families of fallen officers. For Police week PWOO members provided over 5\,000 officers with goody bags\, food\, and more to show them that we care and are proud of the hard work they put in every day with little to no thanks. While our past work has consistently been raised through donations\, with the growing need for support\, our budget must now be supplemented with fundraising. With that in mind\, the Mansfield Area Charter of Police Wives of Ohio will be hosting a 5K on September 8\, 2018. We can’t think of a better day to show our thanks and support for law enforcement officers in the Mansfield area! \nWe cordially invite you to participate in the 3rd Annual Donut Dash 5K. Sponsorships are being accepted to help to defray the cost of organizing the event. Funds received from sponsorships are used to purchase T-shirts for registered race participants and volunteers\, awards\, and complimentary drinks and snacks for participants. Any additional money from sponsorships will help go toward our fundraising goal of $1\,000 to support law enforcement agencies in our area. There are various levels of sponsorship for the Donut Dash 5K\, which you will find on the enclosed page. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization\, and we appreciate any donation or support you can give to us. \nWe all rely on our first responders to protect our families\, homes\, and businesses.
