DESCRIPTION:[countdown year=”2017″ month=”10″ day=”15″ hour=”8″ minute=”0″] \n \nA Miles for Migraine event includes a 1 mile walk\, 5K run\, and 10K run. We are focused on raising awareness that migraine is not “just a headache”. Migraine is in fact a serious neurological disease with debilitating effects on the Migraine patient\, as well as their family and friends. \nOur event attracts the patient with Migraine or headache and their family members and friends who want to come out and support the cause as well as serious runners and weekend racers too. Whether you walk or run – as a team\, with a family member or all alone with just your thoughts – you’ll be surrounded by the wonderful camaraderie from participants\, volunteers and the Miles for Migraine team. \nMiles for Migraine is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for Migraine and headache disorders. Money raised through our events is donated directly to fund Migraine and headache research and fellowship programs in this city.
